The Plague Doctor

A sign, my fate is sealed, as crows lands nearby
I scream and reach but they wont leave no matter how I try
The doctor´s coming closer as the crows are getting violent
Screams and cries when he arrives, but in my mind it´s silent.

He´s writhing in pain with boils in his face
But pain turns to fear as he feels a dead gaze.

He´s followed by hundreds of crows
The Plague Doctor already knows.

He claims he does the work of God, but something isn´t right
The sickness seem to follow him, he´s only here at night
Screams are hidden in the storm, and crows are all you hear
All he leaves are bodies with their faces expressing fear.

He takes the mask of to reveal his face
He leans himself down to whisper in my ear
I´m here to save your soul, confess to me your fear.

Whereever he walks he is followed by the plague
The fever is geting higher, his face is only vague
The crows are now swarming as if they can foretell
Suddenly I meet his gaze as he drags me of to hell.
