To Fade Through Twilight Smoke, Into Ashes

I know the weaknesses that dwell within
The mirror that lurks beyond won't let them be
As humanity walks through their perpetual twilight
Fading through twilight smoke, into ashes
I fall back into the mist that lurks between worlds.

Bloodied sigils painted on mirrored walls
Summon forth the black hatred of them
From utter bleakness calls forth death
Call upon the secrets of old
Black cloaked reaper waits for me, smiling.

Walking amongst nightmares of mind
Black death sweeps me up through twilight
Hells doors open, and carry me through
Oblivion opens her maw, and swallows
Through the circles I fall, into the fires.

Bloody tears stream my face, falling to dirt
As I stare through turmoil towards the world
I know the weaknesses that dwell within
Leaving me less than what I hoped to be
I know I don't belong, and so I retreat
To fade through twilight smoke, into ashes.
