As The Snowflakes We Melt...

Everything dies with the hounds of time
The virid leaves will wither and fall
The fruity soil will freeze up and rimed
And all the flowers will turn to mould
The human body is only water
We shall exude under a stone
Only humus remains, is it life's new sort of?
We shall collapse into the bones.

Will we go back, how life comes again
In the golden-coloured springs?
Or is it all - the creator's mockery
That we know mortality for our sins?

Or maybe this is our mission
To be a chain in the whirl of life
To be the curn in aeon mill wheel
Slowly turning in a god's arm.

Wonderful charm of life and springtime
We wanna have this bliss forever
And bring to halt the eyewink of time
We melt as the snowflakes on the sun!

Oh, we would be the dryads, ever-living in trees
Remained in full beauty without the woe
Or be the afancs, to flow endlessly
Awashed all our land, enlivened the flow
But the fate of the gods is only in tales
We live on this earth like the succourless moths
Flitter and die, but one memory
Although maybe this is our further life.

And we suffer from the unknown
Afraid to spray into the complete nothing
Without leaving a scent on the windowsill
Not leaving in this world even crumbs of our loving
We stand on the cliff of doom and thrill.
