The Northern Sea rages fearfully
Yet more horrors still await in the Minch
Where blue men sing their coarse hymns
That spell doom for mariners and ships…

These devils swim with the ease of fish
Their weapon is a strange poetry
Which, if unmatched, conjures up a storm
That can o’ertake a whole galleon and its crew!

Beware! Beware! The blue men of the Minch!
One with the waves and more deadly than sharks
Their song can cause a tempest to break loose!

Through uncharted seas, off the Hebredean coast
Countless shipwrecks are rotting beneath
The tumbling waves that became the grave
Of thousands of sailors who lost their way!

An ancient curse drives the blue men insane
With a lust to take lives and wreck carnage untold
For the Pictish shamans, many eons ago
Made a grim bargain with the cannibal Sea-God!

The abyss yawns with jaws of coral teeth
To swallow whole entire ships!
From clear skies a perfect storm is born

Never fail their hunger to appease!
