In the Atmosphere

We try to dig our roots up and tie the knotted maze inside our heads.
We hide from understanding why we're even here
We feel like we're the screwups, like we lack a common thread
A speck in the atmosphere.

We work to build our walls up
We build until we're trapped inside ourselves
We search to find what we'll never see as clear
The mountain we all climb up we think was made for someone else
Lost in the atmosphere.

But you can't ask for directions if everybody's lost.

It's alright to not be alright
Survive the fire
To burn as bright
We all have to fight now
To live/be in the right now
If no one's right
Then we're all alright (then we're all alright).

It's not like where'd the pain go
It's hard to shake it off and start to heal
Take what you need and you get stronger as you go
From black and white to rainbow, the pain becomes that real
Stuck when you need to grow.

Even if they're hidden, everyone has scars.

Can't see the little bit of glow

No one seems to bother
