Якщо твоїй воді зламані крила
Що ти залишиш живим?
Страчених мрій невідомі могили
Правди розвіяний дим.

Повний свободи їх подих останній
Ціна за свободу — Шлях до повстання.

Бачу край як на долоні, діброви та поля
Талий сніг біжить по скроні, чи то плачу я
Барви неба, чари лісу — рідная земля
Відкриває промінь сонця брами Ірія.

Наші співи — заповіти, бережи їх сину
Як не стане їх у світі згине Україна
Не згадають тебе діти, мати не впізнають
На чужині шукають щастя, бо свого не мають.

Як приспить червоне лихо неньку Україну
Згине слово кобзарів, в полум'ї загине
Буде інша Україна, буде друга правда
Ти не чуєш та не бачиш, в тому твоя зрада.

Ще не загоїлись воїнів рани
Ще постріл останній не стих
Лише Небо-батько та Земля-мати
Залишаться нам після їх.

Повний свободи їх подих останній

Scattered smoke of the truth.

Thier last breath is full of freedom
The price of freedom is the way to rebellion.

The land is spread before my eyes, I see deep forests and plains
The melted snow is running on my cheeks or am I crying Colors of the sky, magic of the woods my Motherland
The sun rays are gleaming through the gates of Iriy.

Our songs are testaments you have to save them, my son
If they perish Ukraine will be lost
You will be forgotten by your kin and mother
Wandering through foreign lands like an orphan.

When the 'red disaster' lulls Ukraine to sleep
The kobzars testament will perish in flame
There will be different Ukraine and another truth
You would be deaf and blind in your betrayal.

The wounds of the warriors are not healed yet
The last shot still echoes
Just Father Sky and Mother Earth
Will remain with us at the end.
