Translation

Ever since I was little, I'd always dreamt of singing in front of an audience.

I didn't have any confidence in myself, but I really loved to sing.
The five of us who are left share that same dream,
And I hope that one day we can make that dream a reality.

I think there are a lot of barriers we will have to overcome as a major label act.
Honestly speaking, it wasn't happiness that I felt when I first heard that we had been signed.
My fears consumed me.
Would I be able to handle this?

My voice coach told me to write this on a piece of paper:
“I, Haruka Tominaga passed the audition. For that, I am grateful.”
I would practise singing every day while looking at these words written next to my lyrics.
Especia's songs were powerful weapons which helped me channel confidence like those words.

You only live once.
I would have wasted my life if I lived fearing failure.

We have faith in those around us.
We have faith in our fans, the Pecistos.
I have faith in the other members.

So, I'll try to have faith in myself.

We've shouted at each other, and at times let tears flow
From intense frustration, sorrow, and loneliness.

Unable to even ask about the most smallest of things,
I felt discouraged and afraid in solitude.

Even so, we would joke around, and talk about our future,
All while sharing lots of laughter.

People cannot live alone;
For that, I have you by my side.

I felt so afraid as if my heart was being squeezed tightly;
I had no confidence that I ran away into inexperienced dance.

One day when watching TV,
I came across a show where people my age were giving it their all* for their dreams.

We haven't taken any big risks yet.
We've played it safe and kept things the way they were.

We've decided to walk along our own paths;
And walk our own way.
